Deposit taken on the Supersports. Regretting i sold the SSV's since i specifically put 235/35s on her. Anyways. Calais rims for a while i'd say. ---------- Post added 13-11-12 at 21:05 ---------- Rearranged my posters on my wall ahaha. mind the XW.. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

More photos from car show. I'm thinking of giving the car all new bushes and sway bars. In the next 10,000klms the gearbox will need to be rebuilt. Unfortunately showing signs of age. Still need to get central locking done and do some more work to the rear end. ( lights, garnish, badges ). And remove tint. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Hey I was reading through the entire thread and I noticed aside from the fact that u have a mint calais on your hands, you did an auto major at ur high school. Please tell me what kind of high school offers that kind of stuff, because it sounds awesome! My school doesn't offer stuff like that and I haven't heard of anything like that here in Victoria.

Hey mate. Automotive was a subject offered at my high school (Country NSW). From years 7 to 12. And for my year 12 major project I rebuilt a 30. Only took it apart and put it back together with some nice paint etc. Was a good experience to know a 30 etc. And put the tappet cover that I painted in the Calais.

Hey guys, little update. The Calais's Rego is due in late October. So deciding to take it off the road. As well... i don't drive it and its 4 hours away from where i currently live. So deciding to spend money on the things that have been bugging me on the car. - All new Brakes - VLT Front Calipers and Slotted / Drilled Rotors + Slotted Rears + Pads - Retriming front Seats in Genuine Leather - New Wheels Bearings - New rear tyres + No walls - Painting around windows Black - New fuses, central locking fixed - New Bushes or any other worn bits underneath - Rewire the Stock Headunit and speakers. - Repolish Calais wheels - Boot release module - And a few other small things. All this will be done at the end of October when i go home. Thanks guys, will obviously post photos during process.

Finally, I'm glad to see you are deciding to go factory turbo. I reckon if you are going to turbo it and do the brakes do it all before the respray so you don't ruin the paint.. You probably already know that lol anyway keep it updated!!

Contemplating the respray. The Alpine is actually freaking great. Only has about 3 small dints. Typical for a 27yr old car. But around the windows needs to be done black. Always been garaged. Known as a fact from the previous owner. But as I said. Doing a few things before the rego runs out. Taking her to Cruise for Charity Qld late next month so very excited to have one last awsome drive in it.

Alright guys, well since finishing 2nd session of Uni, went back to home and got the Calais. Got a roadworthy, took the white walls off. And organised to get some things painted on the car. Renewing the registration, simply because its easier. due at the end of the month. So by having a 5 month break off uni, the Calais is with me now up here at the coast... for a little while. Next time it goes back to home, its getting the door frames painted, new eye lids painted, and around the fuel cap done. Its needs some new wheel bearings, and will get some other little things done while its up here. Photos. Took the car cover off and hello darling. New lids, have a new assembly thanks to Dustin (Turismo) Repolished the 15s. No walls Looks slammed now wtf. Cruisng to the coast. Note* These are the original Lid assembly-not new set. Some night shots ---------- Post added 05-10-13 at 21:55 ---------- And well, since bhaving no toys to play with this past 9 months, i had to keep myself occupied, got a z50. And beeing doing a bit the Falcon. So check the readers rides section, heres a few pics. ---------- Post added 05-10-13 at 21:57 ---------- heres the thread to it. http://www.calaisturbo.com.au/showthread.php?t=269086 ---------- Post added 05-10-13 at 22:08 ---------- ---------- Post added 05-10-13 at 22:08 ---------- With a mates EG (b16a swap) #hondabros Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
