Ok, so 12 years ago in the Palmerston North kmart car park I spied a Vl berlina turbo.
Intrigued I went and had a chat to the bloke, really nice bloke who let me swoon all over his car. I mentioned to him I would like to buy it but his price was way out of my range.
A few years passed and I tracked him down again and offered again to buy it. No was the answer as he was going to do it up as his dad was the original owner in Aussy (sentimental value) more years past an I found him again. The car had been left in a container for 6 years untouched. Unfortunately there is a bit of rust in hard to get areas but as Aaron will tell you that is no excuse. I offered some coin for the car and he regretfully said yes. Handed the cash today and trailered her home.
The car is a berlina turbo will full factory electrics.(berlina power pack) untouched and completely original - albeit stripped and in rather poor condition. Nothing thy time and effort can't fix.
I don't know how to put photos up but Aaron will no doubt be happy to.
And yes the homo knew about this one too.
More to come.
