Mike moran in the us runs 5.9x@248mph in his monte carlo v8 turbo and cant put down full power till the last 300 feet , imagine a full power pass but 3500hp tends to wheel spin a tad . look at the style of car, you arnt even comparing apples and oranges at least there in the same food group! your trying to compare an apple and brocoli. Ivan tesic has a 3400lb car with ancient heads and an old school intake, much better gear available if he wanted it, he just don't give a *****, he just likes to head to the track make a BBQ, hang out with the boys and do a few skids for the crowd! Where Ivan skaras Mazda is full of carbon, has plenty of power on hand and he is definetly trying to push the boundries of that car! You simply can't compare the two.. Same goes with Joe signo and campisi.. Campos car is nowhere near where it will go very soon, that was a soft engine to make sure the car is setup right for when it gets the BB.. Wait untill you see this thing on kill. Where as joes celica has been on kill from day one!!! I love all cars fast no matter the engine combo, you just can't compare them all.

ok i can see where you are coming from but i can also see how mr mad drives his car and he wouldnt get off it if there was a childrens crossing! where is the rest of the mph to back up the power?

Mr mad does it all out the back door, the first 660ft it's scrambling for traction while trying to keep the front wheels down.

Yeh I know there are some Patrols over there making good power, but haven't heard of any drag cars. 4.8 litres is a farken decent amount of displacement when you consider what people are getting out of 3 litres.

There is one on 56psi with a 10?mm turbo that makes 2600hp on nitro. Its a big motor to house in a chassis tho, in that case, I think that the block IS strong enough, but to be competitive and keep the car balanced you'd need a billet aluminium block to get the weight down, they weigh an astronomical amount for a inline 6. 6BOOST

would have gone 6.4 if they didnt put the extra paint on it very impressive, thats what we wanna see both cars trying to cut the light and both pushing the hole track!

A few things I can notive from those pics. The car only has 3" hot side pipes and 4" cold side pipes, says a lot about people who think you need massive pipes to make power, and look how small that cooler is, looks like the precision 1500hp cooler. Also can't see a BOV, tho I'm sure there is one there. Gotta love hub dyno's for power figures, should run 200-205mph if its a genuine 1800-1850 flywheel hp. 6BOOST

I always laugh when I see street cars with 3" cooler pipes. We have an XR6 turbo with nothing but bolt ons that makes 900-950 flywheel hp on 25psi with 2.5" cooler pipes on the hot side. I think Vas's old JPC VL made over 1000hp on a falcon TB. Actually come to think of it, Rayglass's celica only has 3" hot side and 4" cold side piping and its making 2200 odd hp. 6BOOST
