hey was thinking of running e85 fuel in my car for that extra power...... just wondering if any one on here is running it and what they think?
i have a bloke i know that has a 355 turbo and made 600rwhp and on the same boost but with e85 fuel he made 720rwhp.....

Has anyone seen a pump in brisbane ? I work right near the virginia united & they definately havent had it yet and cant tell me much else. I would love to run this stuff eventually but would want to be pumping it myself from a consistant source
after jamboree i might experiment with mine and tune it on e85 with some huge arse injectors and see how it goes, i think you will see same kind of power figures as race fuel. i just want that power on the street

What fuel reg are people using with E85. Is my aeromotive fuel reg going to do the job?
Also will the intank pump keep my surge tank filled to feed the pumps? keeping in mind the return from the reg will run back to the surge tank also.
any feedback would be appreciated. my goal for the car is 400-450rwhp RB30 SOHC
Hey Mr Squiggle,
Yours sounds very similar to mine. Got the 1000's, aeromotive fuel reg, 2 x 044's, VPW square surge tank. It has a Walbro intank pump and a VL Turbo pump feeding the surge and then the two 44's. It's a SOHC that made 355kw@24psi before the converter was overpowered and couldn't handle any more. I have a 110amp alternator and 700cca battery to cope with the pumps and twin thermos and it's NOT enough. The battery is not getting enough power to maintain charge. It's a fairly new big as*ed Bosch. I have found that the car is really hard to start when cold with E85 which can suck the guts out of the battery, then you have got all the stuff to power which really does it in. If I was going to do it again, I would go with the Aeromotive fuel pump.

the maatouk gtr i told you guys about had a pass at wsid ran a 10 something at over 150 it just sat on the line wheel spining the car keeps smashing gear boxes os geikon billet crap got SMASHED
that was a good watch...
i also love e85! just converted over to it in my car and on the mild tune to see how it went i ran a 10.50@128mph on 22psi...
the next step is to get another tune on more boost and see what it can really do. it is really the ultimate pump fuel!
Spend a bit of time talking about this today, definatly sounds like the way to go when chasing power! I will be running my car on e85 100% when i build it. Smells sugary aswell
