i took my head lights off today and opened them up and saw those blue bulbs are in the lights but there is only 2 bulbs in the light high beam and normal lights, the parkin ligh bulbs have been taken out.
and the parking light grommits all looks like they have been melted away and the background pieace inside the head light paint is bubbled and flaking away looks like from the bulb heat.
the 7inch wide pursuit rims are originaly silver and the black ones are only 6inch wide, im guessing you have the black ones?
yeah the chrome centre caps are gettin hard to get espically mine they are made of metal not plastic just like my dress rims made of metal not plastic but dress rims are easy to find. try ebay for the centre caps.
there is a wheel paint at repco i think its 20-30$$$$$$$ and has like silver flake in it you can see it all in the light all the flakes reflecting. looks filth as for cheap paint lol
alright ill call them.
Also with my steering column, it goes throught the firewall but around it there just a huge hole i can see into the engine bay etc. jw what people have used to block the hole aorund the steering column? is there a grommet or somthign i can buy?
there should be a rubber boot. i think thats a standard thing. i'd go to a wreckers yard and have a look for one. same with the battery holder downer. it should be the same for all early commodores maybe even wb and vn / p
let us know how the armrest goes. i might have to have a crack!
yeah ill give the wreckers a try, but a lot of wreckers keep tellin me that vl are startin to be hard to find at wreckers. so in that case ill have to go to VL PROJEX at lawnton
POd is off

the Reverse gear dosent look too shabby on this box but is only just the top edge chamfered my old gearbox reverse gear was half gone and didnt even go into reverse.
Bearings are a little loud might have to replace them all.

Hole i found in it
Housing and its gasket and the gearbox breather whats is now flowing not clogged with mud.
A crack i have found right behind transmission stick housing.
