Hi guys, Anyone got recommendations for a mechanic in the fyshwick region? preferably has experience with VL turbos. I've just finished putting in a rebuilt turbo block in my car, it runs but has no power and I don't have the time/tools/skill/patience to get it running properly. Cheers Tim

Jakes Performance have done a few.. He tuned a car I helped put together to 286rwkw on 13psi. It was an RB25 though. He has that yellow VL that has over 500 @ the tyres. Ive seen a few go through the shop. If your nice we may be able to organise some guys off the forum to help you. When you say it has no power?? more info

double check the cam timing! and as above we could organise a few forum goers to have a geeze. my guess is that if everything is running ok no noises, no turbo issues etc that the timing could be causing dramas especially if the motor is fresh, doesnt take much to put them a tooth or two out.
