i have my car booked in to go to boostworx and have a nistune fitted and tuned on the 15th of feb so im looking forward to that. and i have spent a few days making 2 slim sub boxes for the boot that run down each side. i still have alot i wanna do in the boot but its a start. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Just an idea why dont you cut a hole in the sub boxes to incorporate the 6x9 near the end thats against the back seat Save some room and bring the sound to above the back seat so i'd say it would have to sound better it'll definitely look better. Great looking wagz none the less.

yeah thats the plan but gonna use some pods that will angle the speakers towards the front aswell then new carpet for the boot.

well ive done a bit more of my boot install but still got a couple of little things i wanna do back there. and i dropped my car of at boostworx yesterday to get the nistune fitted and tuned i got a call tonight saying it will be finished tomorrow so im looking forward to getting it back hopefully it all goes well and its running mint. ill update here tomorrow when i get it back.

What are you expecting out of the nistune?

maybe a bit more power and just my car running mint. i needed a new ecu and vlt ones were a few hundred so i thought i would just skip ahead an get a nistune for tuning benefits and ill probably upgrade other things down the track.

running good but i need to upgrade the fuel pump its maxing out. its making 165kw but yeah any further than that its running real lean. charged 600 cos i need to get fuel pump and take it back but he quoted me 700 for the board fitted and tuned. does anyone know if i need to upgrade the internal pump he said to replace it with a vs internal pump.

just replace the intank with a standard replacement. it will be fine for your set up. i recently replced mine and replaced the external with a bosch 910. car running good apart from that ?? im leaning towards them now for mine...

yeah ive heard standard replacement into a surge tank then 044 works pretty sweet for decent power

yeah ill be putting a bosch 910 in asap and getting it tuned again. i unfortunately got a 300 dollar fine tonight for no seat belt ill usually wear it everywhere i cant drive without it i feel strange but i was literally driving 200 meters down the road after i just posted a letter but of course he didn't wanna know about it i had my belt on by the time he pulled up behind me he didnt even have to use his lights because by the time he got to me i was pulled over. So made today a expensive way to finish off my 2 weeks holidays.oh well. Shaun at boostworx is a great bloke and very helpful im a bit pissed at hi tech after i suggested my detonating at high revs problem could be the fuel pump and they insured me it wasnt that.

yeah the cop was a prick im always nice and polite to police officers and they usually give me the same respect even if they are defecting me but yeah he was an ass hole about it. its my 1st ever ticket as well and i drive for a living so its not to bad i guess. Im running 13psi apparently i thought it was set to 10psi but yeah 13psi 165kw doesnt seem to great for 13psi but ill get a fuel pump and see how it goes.

bought a 044 pump of eBay for 185 so just gotta wait now. does any body know how to tighten your steering column mine shakes up and down not forward and back? its annoying but dont know how to tighten it.

be careful, a lot of fake 044's on eBay mate.
