The boys can achieve 9,000+rpm with their SOHC on around 30+psi. Correct me if i am wrong but I believe the twim cams make their peak power at hi RPM when built, speced & tuned correctly?? As preparing blocks, the boys have had their blocks which are non grouted developed to easily handle 900+hp for quite some time now with out any block problems which is 5 years old & will continue to push it, so im sure its do-able.

Without grouting the block there is definate questions about its integrity at around 900-950hp, there are numerous methods of trying to HELP the situation, but not many to fix it. RB's don't split the bottom or middle of the bore, but the very top, usually the top 1-2 inches, so grout filling it will have negligable benifits, as this stops at the welsh plugs. You could fill it to the brim, but this would relegate it to being a full start at the burnout pad and shut down at the finish line affair, I doubt it will be nice on cylinder and combustion temperature. Some solutions that would have a far greater effect are using a longer rod and shorter piston, the RB26 piston has a higher pin height, so you could use an off the shelf 26 piston(with the 26 head) and have a longer conrod made, this will reduce the anglularity of the rod and piston on teh bore and reduce side loads. Even more extreme, in massive HP cases, you could use some of the off the shelf pistons from Jun or someone for their 2.7 or 2.8 litre engines designed to make 1300hp, these will have a higher pin height again, and obviously have the strength designed for those revs, and compression will also match the 26 combustion chambers. The last is run a custom piston with all these details, and use a short skirt piston, reducing side load and friction even more. The down side to running shorter pistons is that they will dwell at TDC for longer, and in a lot of cases, makes it more prone to detonation, although some argue that becuase the piston moves away from TDC slower with a longer rod, this is offset by teh fact the slower moving piston will draw in more air on the intake cycle and push more out on teh exhaust cycle. But 30 block def has issues around 950hp, and thats from more than one industry expert making that power 6BOOST Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

No grouting (for now), 900+hp, pass after pass & no problems with the block yet But anyways back on topic, feel free to call Alan to discuss further. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

If the red nohope calais is making 845 horsepower at the wheels which is the 630 kw at the wheels its making what would you estimate it to be making at the engine flywheel. What is the driveline percentage loss from wheels to engine flywheel. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

tubbed1,not saying it cant rev that high, ben mentioned something to me a while back for the reasons to it but i cant remember it. the way i see it now,who really cares what your revving too, what fuel, nos,no nos, high boost ,low boost, light car, heavy car,so long as you run a number then good on ya....thats an achievement there, and also driving your own car is an added bonus as for nohopes claim to 630rwkw,thats all good said and done but theres no point in having monster jiggwats if you cant get it down the track as he is seen it first hand from the sideline, borg warner diffs tend to break, bellhousings tend to snap, its big power 845hp and to also being on low boost is (yawnnnn) an excellant achivement, kudos to the tuner pnp,the japs have revved the gtr's past 12,000rpm so revving is not a problem, they also run 8's revving to 10,000rpm,just goes to show its all hairstyles from each diffrent camp,i know what gtr-700 revs too and what goes on there and all i can say id sleep alot better than revving an expensive engine up to 12,000rpm,thats why ben was over it,rebuilding engines for fun is not a interesting hobby. as for grout filling,do what you gotta do,bresciani will have these prepped blocks for sale in due time, test n tune, trial and error, thats what makes the game interesting. plus im not a workshop, just a normal bloke who loves to fish, party and sink alcohol in bulk,to others its a way of life and they earn a crust from it,its a cut throat industry where the strong survive, bresciani have been in business 15 years,i guess they are doing something right, good luck to all those involved and best wishes in this pathetic game called bitching. I agree, this is getting out of hand mate....I'm sure that when someone close to you gets diagnosed with a type of cancer it would shatter you,the last thing on John's mind would be work, but the problem here is every keyboard warrior is having their say,and only in a way to stir the pot....Rob,I agree your upset but you must have had an idea that when john's wife got diagnosed he was going to be putting his wife and kids first,,and unless you yourself has a wife and kids you just don't know whats going through his head.... When Bresciani Racing set the bench mark with Pannic it took time for everyone to catch up,I'm sure that if the bonnet on Pannic was never opened then they would still be on the top of the pile too....It dosent take long these days to find out ones combination. I'm sure that there are alot of guys on here that know that when John gets through this hurdle he's going through he's going to be back up where he belongs.... Mark

No matter what id still take my car to Brescani because they make the best spaghetti!

To me its quite obvious wat has happened.. already from the information that has been posted.. Rob is throwing bits and pieces in because he im sure would love to tell everyone the full story right now, but in his best interests, probably needs to keep waiting and everyday u keep waiting u get more and more frustrated, hence the slip of info here, and the slip of info there.. U can only give someone so much time before u just say to urself. 'well mate u had ur chance' and things get more messed up than they already are. But in reality.. someones problems shouldnt necessarily become anothers. Rob.. hope it works out mate.. i'd keep it all tight until u know urself ur gear is in ur posession.
