I might also add that its pretty damn nut how far Holden.... or more specifically, Australian car companies have come along with Interiors...... nicer than a lot of euro interiors imo. Jeremy Clarkson said that the interior on the HSV GTO was perfect, and Yanks all over America were amazed at the Monaro/Pontiac GTOs interior

I work there, and i personally think they look nuts. It's about time Holden have gone this way, it really is a great car. The SV6,SS & SSV are great look cars out of the box. SV6 & SS(formely called an SV8) ride on 18's std while the SSV(formely called SS) gets the 19's.
The interiors all look class, and make the existing models look so outa date.
The HSV VE's should look nuts. Been told they'll get 20's standard, but dont know if on all models, some could be 19's optioned with 20's.The HSV interiors are killer, full touch screen BOSE audio gear!! and sweet layout.
Rumour is we WILL have a Twin Turbo V6, but that'll be in the next series.....VF, so unsure how far away that'll be.
The pictures out there just dont do the car justice, you gotta see it in real life.........so much room for potential it's not funny.
How awesome do current shape BMW's and AUDI's look, slammed with massive rims???? this will too when dumped on 20's, filling those pumped gaurds.
Everyone to there own, but if you dont like it now.............trust me, it'll grow on you fast.

I reakon when new commodores come out at first they appear ugly but the more you get used to it the more they grow on you, I thought the VY was really **** but there was a lot of improvement with the VZ with just a few minor changes. The HSV versions of the VE and SS's and stuff like that are going to look really nice I think... give it some time people I bet a lot of the baggers will be changing their minds in the months ahead.
meh, the SS/SSZ looks alright
but the SSX concept lookd better....
and btw
why didnt holden ever use these rims?
(used on the "utester")

You hit the nail on the head!!
I hated the VT shape when it came out, but after a short time, i loved it. That was a massive style change from the existing VS shape, so people will take a while to warm to new models.
The VE will be just like the VT was compared to the VS. Dont forget we've basically had the VT shape from 97 til now. The VY-VZ model was just a squarer front and rear VT. So 9 yrs of basically the same shape, will take some adjusting too, but its for the better.
People wiil make up there own minds soon enough, time will tell.
