new turbo sitting in place altho position will change a little bit as im changing to a new twin gate manifold ---------- Post added 29-06-11 at 20:26 ---------- was hoping to have the new bottomend and head in by powercruise but its not going to happen spending quite a few $$ on the car over the next month and hope to have it ready to go on the dyno by end of july then hit the track new setup consists of: new 79mm turbo with 1.28 rear housing id2000 injectors DSS 3.5" chromoly driveshaft new twin gate manifold twin precision 46mm gates new 5" exhaust possibly new 5" intercooler looks like ill be ditching the twin 044 pumps and voltage boosters now and switching to a weldon 2345a pump with controller once thats all in my new wheels should be here aswell as the new suspension stuff to stiffen the rear up and some proper street/track coilovers its going to be a busy month! The guy that was buying it ended up buying scotts black supra so I'm keeping this car n selling my other supra It's changing a fair bit over the next couple months! Cage n all

And then are you gonna try and sell it again before actually taking it to the track ? Come on man, surprise me...don't do a Troy for once, I wanna see this car do something. lol

It's definitly not getting sold now Selling my other supra instead once it's painted I'm putting to much $$ into the car over the next month or 2 to sell it Would easily be 10k + It's definitly hitting the track! Most of these changes I'm doing are so it can cop a flogging at the track It's being built to run atleast a 9sec pass @ 150mph+ on the 6spd

With the na bottomend I'll be limited but with the built 3lt I'll throw everything at it I'll run it with both tho With the na bottomend I want 10s @140+ With the built 3lt it should run 9s@150+ thru the manual on the m&h cheater dot slicks Have to learn how to launch it properly and get my shifting quicker tho The smc should help with anti lag/launch control

well got my crank, rods, bearings and block back from crankshaft engineering last night huge props to them for getting it done in just over a day crank was bent, main caps where very loose, journals had to be ground from the spun bearing ect so now everything is clearanced right and perfect so i have a pretty std motor with eagle rods going together 2moro then the built motor will be done about a month later this motor should handle 30lb fine cant wait to get it back on the dyno to get teh tune finished then off to the track!

Bit of an update Skipped doing the std motor with eagles Have now got a built motor going together Cp pistons with upgraded pins Eagle rods Acl race bearings All balanced and clearanced by crankshaft engineering Arp main studs L19 head studs New oil pump with a few mods Titan balancer Turbo setup is still the same for now 78mm gt45 in gt42 housings 1.28 rear housing 6boost twin gate manifold Twin 46mm precision gates with screamers Turbo back 5" exhaust with 1 burns muffler Autronic smc with 500r cdi Brand new oem coils Iridium 9 plugs V161 6spd with trd mount Npc twin plate clutch Driveshaft shop 3.5" chromoly shaft Titan weld in and solid diff mounts Trd lsd CPC plenum with 80mm tb Gsc s2 cams Bc springs and retainers Weldon 2345a pump and controller Weldon reg Id2000 injectors Hope to have the internals back from balancing early next week then assembly can start Once that's done it's off to the dyno again to be run in and tunes ready for the dyno days in the 15th and 21st

Yeah I'm keen to c what it does to I think they top out at 38-40lb or so It should go 900+ thru the manual I think my old swantko went over 1k on a 4lt thru an auto The most I've heard of is 1144rwhp in the states

Yeah sold it to Kyle and pretty sure it went on 1 of them And went over 1k thru an auto I'm pretty sure Matt miller went 1101@39lb thru a manual with a 1.01 Silver bullet went 1144 around the same boost, not sure what housing I can get a 1.44 rear for mine from conte which I'll do if I get the billet front wheel
