His new job has long hours. Working weekday 6:30am-6:30pm and Saturday's 6:30am-3:30pm. So it not leaving alot for him to get everything done. I had along wait on all my stuff also. I've got about half of it so far. Hoping the rest will be here by the end of this week if not next.

Still no excuse, my stuff was supposed to be ready by christmas, If i knew it was going to take this long i wouldn't have bought the stuff. I dont think CPC or JD plenums built there business on making people wait 8 months for parts.

Yeah I know exactly what you mean. I paid for mine in November. But I also don't have a license and have kept adding more stuff on. So the waiting for me is only just starting to get to the point that it is starting to phase me.

Joel your not telling the complete story are you?
you got your intake manifold last year, your didnt inform me it was for a r31 manual, after some months past you tryed it on your car and it fauled on the clutch master cyclinder (same as a CPC race plenum would) and infact Areil had this happen to one of his customers and told his customer he can pay extra to modd it or buy a street version but no refund i have this in pm/email, i offered to make him one that fits in exchange for no cost to him,
in 2005/6? cpc made me wait for 6-7 months after it was paid in full for my very first intake manifold i bought for my car a cpc street, once i recived it the aac valve fauled on the 6th runner, and the fuel rail he made leaked around the welds. You contacted me about 2 weeks before christmass and informed me what happend with it fauling, so i said i would make you a new one that fit no extra charge or anything and i would exchange that one for, i contacted the company that i was getting my chambers from and ordered them they where ment to ahve it ready that week, and then they stuffed me around keept saying it would be ready next week next week next week for months and i keept you updated on this, finally i ordered it throuh another compnay and paid 3 times the price i was at the other one as i didnt want to keep you waiting, after i got it all ready i gave it to my father inlaw off teh top of my head a about coming upto two weeks ago, and long story short he let me down and i got them back off him last night and im posting it out monday my self for you,
my biggest issue atm is trying to find time to send everything out as i do not have a licence atm and get it back on may 11th also along with the hours i work makes it hard also, matts stuff is ready, as is another customer andrew, and another nathen, which is all getting sent out monday except for nathens as it has to be repolished and will be sent out wensday
and as i thought we discused this and you are excpecting your intake manifold tuesday?
i have a number of people that are respected members on here that can back up my "excuses" as you would like to call them.
I appoligise for letting you down but do know it hasnt been done intentionally or via any direct actions or lack of actions by me.

Don't people realise the amount of orders he has gotten and gets? Just from me one person I have ordered inlet, cooler kit, overflow, washer bottle, rocker cover, catch can, intake, airbox, coil mounts. And more. And most of my stuff is also special requested to be different in one way or another. So imagine adding up all of the other things he has to make. His only one person. And this is his side business. He works 6 days a week. And he gets held up by machinist etc also. You try being one person by yourself to try and keep up with everything, plus waiting on machinist. It would not be easy at all. With protig's item's being cheaper then other's he is of course more then likely going to get more orders.
And poor quality? I cannot fault my inlet plenum or any of my cooler piping. I will take a picture of my inlet against my head without a gasket and it is dead flush along the head. I also have the level here at home from work. Being a builder we need a good accurate level. And I will sit the plenum on that for another picture. Youcsnt trust floorboards to be level ffs. Especially going accross boards.
My plenum has recieved nothing but complements. And I have had mates and mates of dad look right over. And they also cannot fault it and have nothing but good things to say about it.
Trevor has helped me out heaps with alot of stuff and information. His a good bloke and very helpful. Yes can be hard to get a hold of at times. But like said he is flatout 6 days a week with work. Trying to get everyone's stuff finished off. Yet you all want to abuse him and give him ****s making him have even less time to get your stuff ready as he is needing to deal with threats and abuse and complaints. He has only just started his business up. It takes alot of time to get a business steady and stable it's not easy.
Just remember every time you ask him to hurry up is time that he could be spending finishing your good. Instead of arguing with him over it.

i'm down for the weld off, i reckon two identical plenums and same amount of welding to be completed
hey while we're at it i'll give you two identical exhaust manifolds and you guys can weld em up for me, CT can decide who the winner is via pictures
this could be epic

ahahah vltb-0 do we have to use a tig set, i reckon we can get one done in 1/3 the time u could with a tig set, get perfect penotration, ect ( we are pipe welders by trade lol) we use STT machine,
but yeh im making up a new manifold for my car soon, and also a new one for wpn vl above, split pulse, twin 38mm wastegates, 1050turbo, vs's ur open collector/split pulse set up :P and we see who gets faster spool times same engine ect ect but yeh we all do it with tig, (ps im not looking at getting into the exhuast business at all cbf with em lol)
but yeh this could be some fun,
we alll have them all tacked up ect just gotta lay down the welds ect, im keen to test a couple diffrent plenum styles all same chamber size ect, just diffrent insides (one with fullbellmouths, one with flares, one with just chamfered edges, to see in the real world how much of a diffrence it makes ect.
were u thinking low carbon steel or stainless steel? you do a root pass then a capping or just on pass and thats it?
