Did you do the foi search via VicRoads mate?
If the car was from another state/has been all its life will the VicRoads foi search still pose beneficial?
Thanks a lot Craig!
Ps - I will be bombarding you with questions over the next few months so it might be a good time for you to check out of ct for abit hahah!
Just a quick observation, have a look at the join dates for all the last couple of posts/pages, true enthusiasts boys! Glad we're all still around!
Chris,
do the FOI/GIPA search with the police in the state which you reckon it was in service.
Provide them with chassis number, engine number and ask for all information available on their Fleet records such as original rego number, fleet number, purchase and sale date, purchase and sale price and also importantly area of service.
Trouble is that these cars are so old that many of the records are no longer accessible or have been destroyed.
Attached is the WA FOI form you need to use
