It looks Aussie assembled (going off the open hole headrests) so Id be keen to see the tag if you could All V8's were aussie assembled,Our assembley line was not set up for the V8's. I always figured V8's were never assembled here either, but Ive seen a number of V8 Wagons which appear factory V8 and are definately NZ assembled. Here's one on Trademe at the moment http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/List...x?id=423540100 (http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=423540100) And another which has been on a number of times, very original car http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/List...x?id=418315858 (http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=418315858) Can see in the pictures they have the "big boosters" and disc brakes on the rear, but no Aussie tag on the firewall just the NZ tag on the passengers strut tower along with the NZ cloth interior. Battery trays are also on the correct side for a V8. Ive only ever seen Wagon's in this configuration, never a Sedan which seems strange but anythings possible lol

Buuuut, it was around $400 back then. My folks bought it for me in return for painting the house. Took me a whole summer!
