Cool car, the only group a ss I havnt owned before, I think this car was owned by a Maori guy in pukekohe he used it as a daily around 2002, I would love to get my hands on a project like this, I have brand new interior material I brought when I had my Walky same pattern as Brock vl, saving it for a rainy day.

lower control arms nolathane but not the tops? so may be part of it eh. also thinking it could be the torsion bar bushes on front. these will be done end of this year as money allows. just gotta be carefull in the wet!
ive been tooling with the idea of 30 det . hows your setup? trouble free? what ecu do you run?
oh true well if your ever in palmy drop me a line man, Im selling my calais if your keen dont waste your time building a det man stick with the single cam aye it will give you more torque & less stress with the conversion, you will need to upgrade your box though as soon so you up the hp, Im running a link but I have had problems, its going good now but I wouldnt recommend them to anyone aye.

yeah sikvlt i rekon but thats what i like bout the vl genre heaps of tough engines that are similar but very diverse. i do prefer the sound of the sohc BUT have to admit that i went in a vl hillclimb car at powercruise last year and with its rb25det it had 450 rwhp and all for under 10k(engine work). was only passed by this mean rx7. awesome man i loved it. handld great to but had full custom front suspension. but he was surprised that i had a vl v8 diff as he could not find one and went with a vn v8 diff an flared guards.
great advice thanks i will stick to sohc.done the diff and driveshaft rebuild. end of the year hope to get r33 gearbox conversion.
chur i was looking at the link to!!!

There's heaps of places about, but the cost really depends on how bad the kerbing is, and how big the wheels are. I priced up my 19s a couple of years ago, and from memory most the quotes came back at around $200-$250 per wheel... I ended up getting them done as a cash job through my brother in Cambridge.
You can try:
