Has anyone one used one of them EBay 120 amp bosh replica ones? Also what are people using? What fits? Needs to be over 100 amp? Cheers

They're a genuine Bosch Alternator if you're talking about the ones made/sold by the guy in Adelaide, around $350-$400? I bought one off him and used it on my previous VL, no issues.

Bosch replica alternators are garbage. I bought a new one and fitted it to a Camry and the bearings catastrophically failed after 40,000kms. The bearings in the original unit it replaced had lasted over 200,000kms..

These are a Genuine Bosch unit...hence the $400 price tag.
