Hi guys, why has my air filter been drowned in oil, original Brock HDT LE motor was enough oil to stop car from starting had to take ring filter out to get car to start as it couldn't breath. Appears to have come from breather on tappet cover not the Carby what would cause this ? Cheers

Hi, didn't pick up on anything different, oil was only month old only drove it once before this and it was fine. I have used 25w 50 Castrol, the carb was still clean as a whistle. Went to servo walked in came out wouldn't start , looked at all wiring then smelt oil took airfilter lid off grabbed the filter and it was full to the brim floating almost left it out started straight away, first time its done this I'm stumped... Colour of car is venition red Marty will post some photos when I get to a computer
