Hi all Been at this project for just under 12 months now. First few photos is when my mate had it. Had a nice mild setup. Eventually he sold the running gear and was left with the shell. Eventually I bought the car as a roller. Car was in pretty good condition. A few dints and the usual vl rust but was happy with the potential. Originally I planned to just put a stock N/A engine and box and drive it as a daily but soon come around and thought I should save this thing and make it a long term project. hope you like it. yeah mate thats the one. Its a non turbo shell but still. For what i bought it for it was a bargain. The interior is immaculate. so the project kicked off with a full spray job. getting rid of ll the rust, front and back. New panels installed. Going with a low mount setup. Gt 35/40 custom housing. Engine has been fully built. Forged throughout. All nitto goodies. At this stage using the stock turbo runners and plenum. Its only a street car. Standard interior. Even keeping the classic cassette player. Sexy paint job.

Pretty rapt with how the paint came out. Fuel system, all sorted. Just starting on the front end. Will post some more pics. Also made a custom cluster. Parts and easy to find these days. Some have been a mission.

Still going...got tge car running and driving. Have had a cage installed and racepak dash. Car is coming along. Need to upload recent progress pics.
