Hi Just about to set up the fuel system in my vl. Looking at going with a stock vl turbo intank pump to feed a surge tank then 044 from there. Has anyone had problems with the intank pump when running e85. Walbro does make a compatible pump specifically for e85 but it's a bit overkill for a feed pump. Any advice much appreciated.

You dont need 450 for a lift pump the 255 is plenty as long as any pump has stainless bearings it will be fine but twin 044 for pressure is recommended for e85 all depends on how much power you wanna make

I'd imagine having a 450lphs pump wouldn't be a problem along as fuel was being feed back to the main supply tank quick enough as to not pressurise the surge tank?

I have a walbro 460 in tank running through surge tank. My main tank has a modified -8an return from surge tank.
