I clamped it back on and ever since my car does not hit boost ive checked the cooler and other hoses but no luck...what else could it be... help needed cheers

Ive checked the whole cooler pipe to see if any split but nothing there checked the waste gate hose its all good basically ch3cked all possible hoses yet still cant seem to find anything....ive been looking at the engine bay for days and hours too see wat I could do...but its getting frustrating lol...guess mechanics....would it cause anyissue with driving car without boost, would it harm the motor at all?

The pop noise is usually when the hose pops off or splits. If you've inspected by eye and it's still ****ed I'd take every bit of silicone off check them properly and then re-fit them making sure they're all done up good and proper. It's basically almost 100% what the problem is.

Or if have access to an air compressor take your inlet off from air filter block it completely to seal system, then pressurise the system up to 10 psi ( turn regulator on compressor down to be safe ) using an air blower gun into a pilot hose you'll soon find any leaks that's the easiest way I've found to find leaks myself...

16-04-14, 23:53 GMT+10#11 If it was running fine then one could safely assume that no un measured air was entering the engine there for cancelling out the cooler issue.
Any way the type of turbo will depend on your engine package and how much cash your willing to throw at the car when things break.
