Hi all, been on here awhile and had a few hiccups with vl's, bought a standard Calais original black manual when I was 16 off a work mate who was selling it for a mate who was in prison. Had original 60,000ks on her, but alas was stolen shortly after purchase, never saw her again. Had a couple shot heaps since and descided to put my current project on here. Car is an 86 N/a Berlina which I am turning into a turbo. Make / Model: 86 Berlina Colour: Vl weird green/blue Bodykit: standard Engine Type: a6 Engine Mods: standard Power: pedal power Exhaust: 2 1/2 Gearbox: n/a auto Diff: standard Brakes: drum rear, standard front Suspension: standard Wheels/Tyres: stockies with hub caps Interior: green Stereo: Head unit, new fronts and new 6x9 rears Other Mods: seat covers Future mods: At present I have a forged motor being built. Have a disc LSD 28 spline rear end ready to go in. Vl turbo auto with shift kit and 2800 stall. New slotted turbo rotor and some turbo calipers for front Cut out the rust and give her a respray. Full custom dash cluster using auto meter cobalt guages. Thanks mate. Ok I'm useless with photobucket so hopefully these work. Forged pistons ceramic coated crowns and Teflon coated skirts. Oversize valves [/IMG] ---------- Post added 11-03-14 at 13:14 ---------- Forged rods and pistons before the pistons were coated ---------- Post added 11-03-14 at 13:14 ---------- They sit at 8.2 to 1 comp ratio ---------- Post added 11-03-14 at 13:20 ---------- Garrett Gt35 I got of MORGZ. Top bloke. Next to a t3, plan to run it low mount. ---------- Post added 11-03-14 at 13:29 ---------- Engine has been built as follows. Block bored and honed, cleaned as usual, oil drains drilled out, Sourced new crank, installed new grub screws in crank, forged rods, forged pistons (coated), custom cam, 40 thou over, oringed block, heavy head port, head welded for strength down the middle, rebuilt turbo oil pump, high volume sump, block drilled and tapped for oversize head studs. That's all I can remember at the moment haha. ---------- Post added 11-03-14 at 15:25 ---------- The engine is an original a8 turbo block too. Plan to do some body work on her as the rust is out of control! Also I'm collecting gauges for a custom dash Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Wow, forgot about this haha. The car is currently getting all the rust cut out. I've converted the front brake to turbo, still have to stick the turbo disc diff in and have a 1"master and turbo booster to stick in. Also stuck a turbo auto in it but the guy who sold it to me ripped me off it was supposed to be shift kitted and in really good nick with a 2800 stall. Got it, stuck it in, and it wouldn't move. Pulled the pan off and check the band, which was pretty much non Existed. Anyway, trying to get it ready to cruise up to lakes entrance for New Years. ---------- Post added 30-11-14 at 15:21 ---------- Wow, forgot about this haha. It double posted for some reason! ---------- Post added 30-11-14 at 15:29 ---------- Also has turbo injectors now, as well as turbo ecu. Started rigging up the surge tank in the boot as well. The 044 is starving being just inline after the standard intank. Intercooler piping is all cleaned up and airbox rigged in. Started putting in my cobolt gauges too. ---------- Post added 30-11-14 at 15:49 ---------- http://s1295.photobucket.com/user/Mc...tgtf8.mp4.html (http://s1295.photobucket.com/user/McMaster89/media/Mobile%20Uploads/5B7F2B4E-A7C3-47EC-8EB7-31E778403A9F_zpsrditgtf8.mp4.html) a little of boost finally. Can anyone give me some insight into the rare spare rear window panels? My one is rusted to all hell and is getting cut out as we speak. Are they easy to fit? The guy I'm getting to do it hasn't used a rare spares one before so was just wondering. Cheers, Nick
