Hi Just wanted to get an opinion on cam sizes. Have many of you got a for example 1147 wade cam or CT503 545B-115 (a) - Camtech cam in your RB 30 with a standard head? by standard head I mean not cnc ported! do they work or am I wasting my time? current set up is forged bottom end mild cam to4z turbo running on e85 cheers

I've got the same camtech cam in mine with a standard head an a gt42. haven't got it running yet but aiming for about 400-500 rwkw and engine builder said I got get it. but soon am going to port the head wen I build a full out engine am its only good for about 350-400 kw so ill be pushing the engine to its limits. Also a t04z might be abit small for the camtech cam as states by others on this forum when I asked them in one of my threads. The 1147c is smaller than the camtech and I think will suit you better even with standard head and t04z
