Ok so my first thread was horrid lol, so started all over again here is my mockup VL calais bought it with the Cherry black paint, walky scoop and retrimmed interior, had all the calais parts on it when i bought it so the plan was to just build a rb30 turbo and drop that in, but when my mate told me an LS1 would fit i decided to go that route. Picked up a VY clubsport LS1 with a T56 behind it, got some engine mounts and gearbox cross member to suit the LS1, new VS SS 3 row radiator with a 16 inch thermo fan behind it. Once that was all in we modified the drive shaft to suit the T56, put the new extractors on it and went and got a twin 3 inch to single 3 1/2 system put on, its got a bosch 044 in front of the tank to keep the fuel up to it and a mafless tune on the ecu. Thats pretty much where its at atm future plans are single massive turbo and all the other little goodies that come with that. Good stuff, like TRKDUP said the seats are awesome. Change the intake though I reckon, would do wonders for the look of your engine bay. Keep the updates coming.

Any more photos of the ls1 conversion? Which mounts did you go for? Auto & engine? Looks tough!

Nice build mate. How much work did you have to do to the tunnel to fit the 6sp?
