What have you guys done to bring back your rear boot garnish, side tail light garnishes, Mirrors? Is there some why to bring back from being faded or do people just paint them now a days?

i didn't paint mine (not original) i used Meguires PlastiX on the garnish, boot mould and eyebrows.
mirrors, i used mothers back to black over the course of a few weeks (as they were really crappy)
the car has been off the road for almost 2 years now, and it is just starting to look crappy again, but remember, its been outside for most of the time, and only in the garage the past month.

Whenever I have tried using tyre shine it only lasts for a few weeks before fading/disappearing completely even on metal parts. The other methods above sound good though.

Meguires trim detailer for the mirrors lasts for ages, also use this for all black rubber parts.
For the garnish and other bits a Plastic polish or a fine car polish be carefully not to rub in the same spot for to long as it will burn the plastic

Meguires plastx and a cotton buffing wheel are the go. These were absolute nuggets beforehand and came up pretty well. They also required a bit of 1500 and 2000 wet and dry to get the crappy old paint off
Another set I did a quick buff on

Under your name it says you can't polish a turd but you seem to have proven otherwise! Excellent work mate I wish I did that rather than paint mine now.
