Had a quick look and couldnt find a thread so. Just ran at Palmyra Dragway at Mckay on the weekend and ran a 14.9 at 92mph. Put a fuel reg on the next day and ran another 14.9 but my afrs were sitting below 10.2. 60ft was 2.0 seconds. Anyone else have decent 1/4 times in their NA?

We stretched an NA Berlina sedan w/stock Jatco auto to 15.4's @ 97MPH a couple of years back. Had a Turbo Camshaft, set of good valve springs, a VLT oil pump and I relocated the guts of the MAF to square section in the plastic pipe just before the throttle body, cold air induction, extractors w/3" system & 4.11's. Just never got the turbo installed and was still a high comp engine. Also around the same time we ran a metallic blue jatco Auto Berli wagon that was stock from grandpa's garage. It ran a flat 17@ 89MPH (not 100% on the MPH, I think it picked up 2MPH in the tune but I didn't record it, could have started off at 87MPH or finished at 91MPH) with a little tweaked ECU I did for it back then.

After thinking about how the hell it made 50+hp over stock I went to go and see what else we did to refresh my memory. The ole boat also had stock suspension harbouring a 3" exhaust with extractors and 4.11's in the diff. I found the tune I calibrated for it. it's a fair bit leaner in the mid range (10-12% from what I can see in the c/tables), a tonne of extra timing 1400-3500 to get some response out of the turbo cam and a modified calibration table for the MAF so it could sit in the larger area in the intake.

Ah i see. i half regret not going 4'11s. i do have 3.9s and first is all wheel spin on street tyres. doesnt really like it till 3rd gear where it revs out really nice. As much as it would be cheaper to fit a turbo I would love to see someone have a crack at building a quick na 6 vl . Big compression and fuel set up on E85 , rb25 head , big cams , custom intake manifold with 6 individual throttle bodies . Of course you'd keep it manual .

In the future you might want to double click on the "IMG" link on the right hand side. It will copy the code to your clipboard so you just paste (ctrl + v) in your post like this: Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
