difference b/w LB9 and LV2

Hey guys. what was the standard V8 for the VL's LB9 Engine - V8, 4.9 Litre PFI LV2 Engine - V8, 4.9 Litre High Compression

LV2 is the standard VL 4.9 Carby Engine.... I believe LB9 is the Walkinshaw engine code (4.9 Injected) Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
