hey guy i just had the front window rust on my vlc cut out and they out a new seal around the screen, and im gonna respray it so my question is: can i pull the seal out with out the windscreen coming it so i can paint in there, and does it need to be refitted by a professional?

You can pull the top and bottom strips out, clean them up and re use them without pulling out the screen, the side clips are urethened in too deep but you can pull off the top covers, I use a stanley knife and screwdriver to cut out the urethene from the bottom section to get at the rust, sometimes there are holes in the corners. If you pull the glass you will need an expert to put the glass back in. You can buy a windscreen knife.
