Just wondering has anyone used the mace or similar inlet manifold insulators. If so what are your thoughts.

My opinion is they really wont offer a great deal. The hot air from the turbo (can be upwards of 100 degrees) is going to heat up all the pipes and top manifold anyway so having 1ft of insulated intake runner is not going to do a lot. Your better off increasing your inter cooler capacity or installing water/meth injection. One advantage I can see is its an easy way to space up the throttle body for more clearance over the rocker cover for GRA setup or larger throttle bodies and it increases the length of the runners which is a good thing in N/A applications.

I have a jd plenum anyways more thinking its gonna put length on runners which will help with torque wasn't really expecting it to cool it
