vl calais LS1 speedo?

hey fellas, im thinking of doing an ls1 conversion into my vlc, and ive heard you need autometer gauges for some reason is this true? because i want the original instrument panel to work is it possible to do so? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

You can but it requires allot of screwing around ls1 tach output reads as 4 cyl and its an electric speedo out put and vl dash is cable driven you can buy a convertor box for the speedo but the kit is around 800 bucks so autometers are looking cheaper before your speedo is even connected

yeh then i might just stick to the rb30et then hahah thanks heaps mate Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
