Hi all just joined here just thought id share my current progress and things im looking at doing to my vl. As I said its my first project car so im a bit of a novice so any opinions and ideas are greatly appreciated. I bought the car a few months ago that had a rebuild 2 years ago. Currently a non turbo but will be converting it all in good time. So when I got the car it had dents all over it mostly minor but Definetly noticeable... The biggest problem though was the insane amount of rust building up around the window. So I've Firstly pulled that out and grinde that all away. Fyi I found it impossible to get the window out without cracking. I figured i was going to give it a paint from here on inv so I started sanding back to metal. Fixed the debts after this and now just finished the primer rub back and Painted inside the doors and under the boot and bonnet. Will post more soon.
