Hi All, have taken the plunge to do away with my old carby fed RB30 & replace with a good donor from a VL complete with wiring harness & ECU, however some of the wiring has me a little stumped. You can see the plug in the pics below with four wires going into it & the brown wire & white wire that have been cut off, any idea what these are for? this is located under the intake manifold so I'm guessing it something to do with powering up the injectors? maybe through the reverse polarity relay? Also what are the brown & the white wire for? Next pic is of the wiring that goes to the CAS plug & distributor, the plugs were cut off & I need to know what colour wire goes to what number on the CAS plug as the new plug I have is numbered 1,2,3,4. I take it the black wire is the earth on the dizzy & the other two go to the small module on the side of the dizzy whatever it's called (I dont know!) Any help with this would be very much appreciated, seems to be a bit of a grey are using a VL harness in a Patrol, most use the R31 Skyline harnes which apparently is much easier. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
