Hey, Quick question My VL is only giving me around 150-200 kms (city) per tank on E10. Its an 88 Calais NA. Fuel tank is 60 liters, I think. Any ideas whats wrong with the car ? Thanks in advance.

Many things - could even be a fuel leak at the tank.... - Blocked fuel lines, fuel pressure reg, faults at internal and external fuel pumps. - Injectors; or have you also checked tyre pressure(s)?

Some people forget the AFM is adjustable, a good tune includes everything like plugs, leads, fuel filter, air filter, timing and dizzy cap.

Wouldn't allot of the above mentioned issues cause a drop in performance revs ect rather than increese fuel usage. For example a blocked line would cause restriction, inhibiting the flow rate and thus starving the engine. Resulting in poor performance through lack of rather than to much fuel?? worth check the above in any case. Id start with SENSORS... Coolant temp (CTS) Note: also check the earth wire next to it for oxidization. check AFM, O2 sensor Computer IGNITION Then FUEL. Could it be the e10 cheap and nasty*? Cheap and nasty does not mean 98 is good lol 98 is the biggest waste of money if your car is not tuned for it, as it has a higher ignition point. For example running a vl on 98 with 15 deg timing vs running it with 20 degs Wikipedia...
