Ls1 into VL transplant costs

Im thinking going down the ls1 route into the vl....but i want to know a rough ballpark figure of how much itll cost minus engine and how much custom work is involved I have choice between power steering and non power steering if it helps with the starter issue hitting the steering rack Want a manual gearbox Car is already manual I want to know details as in engine mounts, extractors ecu if best to run stock or aftermarket ,tailshaft diff etc etc Full conv minus engine about 5 to 8k ?

5/8k you will piss it in!!!use manual rack move across 30mm,I picked up tuff mounts brand new from a bloke unused 150$I had tail sharft,but did price one custom one to suit 300$,standed Vlt diff,can go stater relocation kit but is like 800/1000$ dePends if runnin big pipes,or just Gina fab sum up,can be done Alot cheaper then think!STD ecu killer customs will mod to suit..also wateva box Gona run ect..

Best bet for an engine is to buy a complete car from auction. You'll pretty much make every dollar back if you buy the right car

i was thinking that, atleast that was i have the whole ECU gearbox etc etc etc and i may even install the interior if its a leather vx ss interior Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
