Took the car out yesterday for a day of testing at Heathcote. First pass out on low boost (20psi), left the line on 5psi and sort shifted, car went 11.0 @ 130mph. Second pass was on high boost (34psi), 18psi T-brake launch, went 1.56 60ft, short shifted again, the car started to pull badly towards the centre so I backed off to 50% throttle for a split second to pull the car back to the centre then from 6600rpm onwards the ignition was popping but managed a respectable 9.7 @ 146mph.
Had an auto problem in the pits after the second run. It wasn't until the end of the day that we figured out what it was and all it ended up being was the R clip on the shifter cable had broken and the cable had dislodged from the selector. so a 20c R clip stopped us from doing anymore passes. Thats racing for you!!!
