Hey guys ive recently purchased a Vy Senator Sig Series 2, Went all the way to Sydney to get the bloody thing, 1 owner immaculate
Now Ive got abit of an issue im not sure if its normal but the battery keeps draining if there car sits for about a week, if it gets driven every day then no problem. im not sure if this is normal for a gen3 as this is my 1st
Ive replaced the alternator and got a new battery for it
the car is all standard no mods at all the only thing done is its got injected gas
any tips would be awesome to check up on the weekend. im going to try and take it to my mechanic on my next day off to check and see maybe? if its the gas system drawing power im not sure or if its just normal. FML bloody cars

Its not normal. When I was working for holden back then we used to get the odd Vy coming through with similar issues. After a lot of crap and diagnosis it turned out to be an internal fault with the BCM so replacements were required. Could be worth checking once you've eliminated the simple things

I don't think it was as it was an internal fault with the actual module so it wasn't actually throwing a code. I think it was diagnosed by swapping out replacements (at the time bcms had to be replaced on exchange - order in from eastern states). It wasnt a bad bad job, module two key fobs and coding. Just eliminate the basics firsts voltage drops thru harness and the gas system first etc etc. Just letting you know my experiences. Hope all works out with it!
