Im looking at buying a forged short motor of a mate of mine. He bought the motor from a guy he worked with whom initially had the work done by AVO around 2009. Theres recites for all the work done.... problem is the pistons are unknown. No markings on them and only cited on the recite as 'Forged pistons & rings - $1800' When the motor was initally done, the bloke asked for a 'built motor' and didnt specify anything. I havnt called AVO yet, trying my luck here first if anyone can recognise them Need to know for compression ratio etc Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

It does.....unless it's a piston designed for RB blocks, regardless of head?

yeah i guess if an RB25/26 piston is the same as 30 or this RB30 was built for twin cam head.

The valve orientation on a SOHC RB30 goes IE,IE,IE,EI,EI,EI. So rather than have two different pistons to suit cylinders 1-3 and 4-6, we have one piston that can be fitted to all cylinders Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
