Hello all.
How far can you take out a standard 304 crank?is it possible to get it to 350 or do rods, pistons etc play a big part.

You have to use 308 crank standard to offset grind.

And can you get it out so the stroke is 3.54?

No, offset ground crankshaft using small journal chev rods normally are around 330 ci, depending on bore over size

For what it will cost to grind the crank , chase up the small journal rods & pistons , machine work and balancing , you're best off just going for a 355 . I looked into this when I was putting one together for mine , went with a Scat stroker set up instead .
