current motor i got ACL forgies.. seem to b doing the job but i got a set of precision motor sport I beam rods with arp bolts for my rebuild ;-) there th go i been told..

Damn i forgot to add ACL... Then agaon i heard acl get their forged pistons from mahle.. :S

04-03-13, 18:50 GMT+10#11 Being warm up friendly would be my concern if it's going to do a lot of street work. A je or cp would be fine but then why would you spend that much money to make 400hp on the street.
Any will work fine but a specific realistic target would make for a more accurate decision was my point

Hahaha same here. I have ACL forgies & Precicion H beam steel conrods. Suppose to be a good combo.

04-03-13, 23:33 GMT+10#15 I have JE nittos and prescision rods, your rings/ ring gap would be the determining factor in streetability with forgies, all of them are going to have a rattle when cold you just have to deal with it and get used to it

About 6 years & 70,000km's with some pinging & detonation LOL.
