My 1988 VL CALAIS SERIES 2 .. Horror past - Fresh future

The 86 calais had been looked after very well and even tho it was sluggish i sitll wonder what ever happen to it .. - it had special inserts in the rear head rest which i had never seen before and still to this day have never seen them . Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Was this on car sales for 7k? If so, it had been up for a while. Looks pretty clean mate, keep the updates coming

You said you can get the chrome strips for the car? Do you know someone that sells them or just the sticky types as im after just 1 strip for my car

Do you know someone that sells them or just the sticky types as im after just 1 strip for my car Hey bro , Nah sorry man .. i have searched high and low and the ones i found are damaged in some way or not really chrome anymore due to age , which makes me very sad as i would like to keep the car as stock as i can .. but i have to resort to chrome strips with the 3m double sided tape .. i seen a calais to day with it and i must say it looks the part for sure !!!! i was impressed and i wasn't expecting to be !! Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Ahah yeah tell me about it man. Touch wood the chrome strips i had were mint but missing some. Sourced all but one right hand rear quarter. You know the strips can be repaired? The tapes just not the same, but if your going to use tape, interested in selling the right hand rear quarter?

I've done a few fix ups here n there n starting to feel happier with the calais ... N yes he orange cat was called tiger but he passed away in 2001 I believe at 16years old ... Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
