20 inch on vl"s and ur asking for a canary I think the max u can go is 2 inch above the standard rim size for the model of car so the vl is 15" so u could go 17"

thanks for the responses, much appreciated,
i know that you can only legally go 2 inches above standard but what im saying is how do half the nsw scene get away with 20's? is it door placards? is it engineers?
im really wondering, because there are plenty of vls running them.
any info much appreciated

Any 1 can run them it's only a matter of time till u get caught and go through the headaches of getting the canary off ya car

Also depends on ur attitude towards the officer that pulls u over if u be a smartass he's gunna fix u up good n proper

Also if u have an accident more than likely ur insurance company won't payout

The problems I had with the 20s on me vl. It puts the speedo out, you need to flair and pump the front an rear guards out, you have to run a very thin profile or the front tyres hit the bottom of the struts were the springs sit, and they just hit the front sway bar at full lock.
If you were too reset the speedo proply, run some custom front coil overs with a custom front sway bar you shouldn't have a problem having them legally on your vl. Of course the rims an tyres will also have to comply with the safety ratings and standards as well

well so many people in nsw are running them i thought there was some trick or system jump to be able to run them legally with no worries.
my guards seem to have been rolled and likely to have been pumped,
i just think that 20's on a vl look so good and wanted to know how to get away with it...
btw thanks for the feedback
