I wouldn't fit one unless you weld on a flange and make the welds really thick at the neck part. I've done this on both NA and Turbo stock plenums and after I was finished match porting them I cut the flanges off just to see how much metal was left. There was pretty much nothing left. You could just do like most others do an simply tapper it in just at the opening but that just makes the whole point of doing it in the first place a waste of time. IMO if your going through the trouble of welding the Plenum in the first place why not just go a moterks style off the front forward facing. Or the pintara TB is a straight bolt on that stills requires you to port the opening but there's still enough metal left. Back to the start though, I don't think it does anything with just mild mods but it all adds up sooner or later I guess. I could take a pic an show you what I'm saying if ya like.

This one is a vlt Plenum with a pintara sized throttle body, notice how its a bolt on fit but I've had to port the opening a fair bit to match. In the back ground you can see the other vlt Plenum I moded for the xf throttle body, I'll try take some pics of that one later an put em up.

In these two pics above you can see how much larger the pintara throttle butterfly is in the vl TB housing, you don't need to change them over its just for show perposes.
