i have a turbo that is a garrett t04z a/r70 front with a ford casting 1.06 rear housing running external gate, dont no alot about turbos but didnt think you could fit a ford /35.40 rear housing on a t04z ? or obviously you can ? Is there a loss of flow running external gate through the 5bolt housing that use to be internally gated.

um...sure ur t04z isnt actually a 35/40 or 35/76? could possably be a machined gt35 rear housing? i dunno.
