Hi guys have been researching upgrading my brakes to VT setup and wanted to know a few things. Is this the best way to upgrade? I want to upgrade them but not wanting to spend heaps of money for some silly after market setup I don't need so will this be the best for me? and more importantly who has done this and got them engineered and gone over the pits and passed? Any one with experiences can give me tips and info to get it through regency and wont void my insurance? I recently just turbo'd it so I think I need to go to regency. I have no idea help would be grateful. Cheers, Very new confused VL Turbo Owner :P (BronsonVL)

they dont need to be engineered, i went through regency with vt front brakes, all they did was check the track which was fine. dont bother going through regency unless you get defected then go through. i turbod mine while it was defected and then got the defect cleared while it was turbo and with the vt brakes. there is nothing on rego papers any anything saying its turbo even if its a genuine turbo car. nothing on my rego/insurance changed. vt brake upgrade will be fine for your standard set up. also a good mod is the vt master/vs booster. helos with the pedal feel after doing the vt fronts. if u dont have a disc rear end that is the first thing to do

depends who you are insured with and if they allow mods. best to speak directly to your insurer.
