I measured my bore last night as I need a new head gasket. It was 85.49 mm or 3.366 inches I thought the factory size was 86 mm ? Just need to know what size gasket I should get can I use a factory one ? I was told it had been rebuild when I brought the car ( rb30 turbo) a8 block

U can get one from Nissan if u want or if the surfaces are spot on meaning the roughness then u can use an mls, mls are far superior than the factory gaskets but like I said the surfaces need to be like glass so to speak

I have a ported head and a stock one. I was just going to put the stock head on for now cause I haven't heard it run didn't have the head on it when I got the car. If it runs well ill put the ported head on with a mls gasket some other time. So I just need to know with that bore size can I use the stock size head gasket ?
