After owning 4 Vl's over the past 10 years this one by far is the best VL i have ever owned. The vehicle was purchased as a stocker with only the usual mod's; a K&N Panel Filter, Front Mount Intercooler and an aftermarket exhaust. Two months after picking up the car i was bored with the power and was advised to speak with Anthony Rodriguez at Maztech of Melbourne. The vehicle was purchased with an original A8 motor and VL Turbo Auto transmission, since i had decided to build up a tufter streeter i decided to store the original running gear and to start fresh with an A6 block and tuff Trimatic box to suit. If the buyer wants the original A8 Engine & Gearbox i would be happy to sell for the right price. Current Specs as Followed; 1988 *GENUINE* VL Calais Turbo (Non Genuine Tubo Body). Being a fresh motor I was advised to run the car in before putting more boost through it. After driving the car for a few months i decided that the power it had was plenty for the street and left it at 18psi. The only reason why I'm thinking about the sale is because i never get the time to enjoy driving the car and figure its a wasting having so much money tied up in something I can't benefit from. Will sell for $25,000 (nothing less). Don't like the price, simple don't comment, without being bias this car is immaculate, the money I'm selling this car for wouldn't build you half of what it owes me. Not urgent to sell, will keep and store if need be. Located: St.Kilda / Mornington Contact: Trent - [phone removed] Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
