Hi Guys, Wanted to ask a few questions from people that have done what im hopping to do! 2 spd glide with trans brake. Few questions come to mind. 1. Starter Motor how does it fit any mods needed? 2. Speedo cable ? Do I need to adjust ft a new speedo gear? If so where do I get it from? 3. Shifters? Can you run a TCI outlaw with a drop down box? 4. Suggestions for custom tail shafts builders in Melbourne? And costs? 1 - 2 piece? 5. Cable length from shifter to trans ? Does it usually come with the kit if purchased (i.e shifter)?? Also pictures from underneath shifter centre console pics would be appreciated as im unsure on what to do or try and graph the factory shifter in there some way.

1. powerglide is fitted with rb30 bellhousing using an adaptor ring so you retain factory start motor. 2. Yes it can be done i just used a blank tho cant help here 3.run any 2speed shifter you like 4.tailshaft will cost around $600 single or 2 peice choice is yours, cars run very fast times with both, if u want to ride low then you will need a 2peice as a single will rub on floor pan.I can reccomend Duggan Balancing in reservoir and Jeff Lagerway in ferntree gully. 5. cable comes with b&m shifters, havent looked into any other brand best to double check. they will all reach, there always long enough and you will have to loop around auto usualy to take up the length in cable.
