Hay. i have some random problem with my alternator, Its hardly putting out any power at all. car off im getting 12.1V, car on im getting around 12.5 at any RPM. First I changed to another spare VL one i had laying around, same problem. So I changed to my mates R33 one and changed the plug. same problem, So not alternator. The wire goes too starter motor and is large, then from starter too battery at the back of the car. I have a large earth from battery to block The sig wire is getting battery voltage. the light is plugged in but unsure where its going and dont really think its a problem. when I unplug the plug it drops volts. I know it was getting 14+ not long ago. nothing has been changed on that side of things. What could it be! Thanks Matt.
