Turbo fuel regulators use vacuum(rising rate). The more vacuum/boost = more fuel rail pressure. I running a Monza rising rate fuel regulator. Been running one for years & haven't had a drama yet.

NA an Turbo reg's are the same, rajab were using the NA reg on there twin Turbo show car. The only time you need to use an after market one is if the rest of the fuel system isn't up to spec. Like if you want to bump up the rail pressure to get the injectors running at 90-100% duty cycle which is not a good idea. Also using an after market adjustable reg is illegal on the street. Hope that helps. If you want to buy a replacement reg you need to find out what bar pressure the standard ones are.

I'm not 100% about this but if any one else knows plz jump in, but i think the 1:1 ratio is 1psi extra fuel pressure per 1psi boost pressure. If that's correct an say you have a 2.5bar reg it should be able to flow up to 2.5bar. 1bar from memery is 14.7psi. So 2.5bar would be 36.75psi. ---------- Post added 29-11-12 at 00:35 ---------- If you were to fit a boost an fuel pressure gauge up you'd probly see what the ratio is ---------- Post added 29-11-12 at 00:47 ---------- Going through me manual, it says fuel pressure should be 206kpa at idle, and 255kpa with no vacuum. Hope that helps

Yes its 1:1 ratio. Its to keep the pressure at the injector the same relative to manifold pressure.
