No oil pressure from fresh build

Hi everyone just freshly built my rb30 single cam and went to build up oil pressure before staring and guess what no oil pressure , we filled the oil filter up and tried to get get pressure even tried sucking oil up through the turbo feed but no i filled the oilpump with vaso and checked all the clearances they are all ok the engune was running with good oil pressure before dismantling any idea STRESSING Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Did you pack the oil pump with grease before installing it?

Take the filter off, there is a small hole that feeds oil to the oil filter directly from the pump. Get a tom Thumb pump or similar, and pump oil into the oil pump from there. Plugs out, coil lead off, and crank it until you get oil pissing out. If it doesnt work, you havent pumped enough oil in. Try again

over fill the engine oil level. take of the oil filter. block the rocker cover breathers and pump compressed air down the dip stick tube. this forces oil from the sump, up the pickup then thro the pump and out the oil filter bung. if that doesnt get your system primed then yourve got a rooted pump or som other major issue
