Vt ls1 calais wont crank after ls6 manifold swap??

Hey guys i just put a LS6 manifold off a vx ss on my car now it looks like i was suppose to shave under the manifold for it to fit is that correct? well i was being a ****head and didnt do it kinda forced it down onto the water pipe i put all together and the car wouldnt crank ignition all that is working just clicks and wont crank if i have broken knock sensor wiring will that cause it not to turn over??
