i decided after th pod filter has been on th car for 3 years i better give it a clean lol... it hasnt even done more than 15000km in 3 years but looked really black n dirty... the pod i got is a BMC twin air filter so its not a cheapo n is cheaper to clean it rather than buy another... the cleaner kits r on special atm at auto bahn for $15 bucks...!! so i got to work cleaning it...!! F@#k me tbe amount of shizit that come off... far out...! i used the detergent 6 times over washin it with just hose water pressure. i couldnt believe th grime that come off.. then waiting for it to dry then apply the oil which is real easy to do n leavin it to dry... drove th car before n after the clean n the difference it made was noticable... could really hear th turbo sucking air n the temp was done slightly which is always a bonus... so has anyone else done this or if ur thinking of doing it.. DO IT...!!!!

You should be cleaning it way more often than 15,000 KM's! Especially on an FI car! I do mine every 5,000.
